It has been a while since I last updated you guys on my beard and as you can see a lot has changed. A few weeks ago Colette and I came to the realization that I didn’t like the beard and she didn’t like the beard so there was really no reason to keep the beard. So out came the clippers and I was left with a goatee. At the time we were both happy with the result. Since that time it has grown quite a bit and once again Colette and I are coming to the realization that she doesn’t like the goatee and it is starting to annoy me. So within the next few hours or maybe days the goatee will be gone. It will be both a sad and happy day. I’m not sure how David Crowder doesn’t go insane with the monstrous piece of facial hair he has.
Week 3
August 2, 20093:52 pm6 CommentsHere is the beard progress for week 3. It looks pretty dramatic because I cut off all of my hair. My beard is now a lot longer than the hair on my head. The good news is that I no longer look homeless. The bad news is that people either think I look really religious (i.e. Amish) or a like neo-nazi.
Here’s to another week.
Beard Challenge - Week 2
July 26, 200912:30 pm4 CommentsIf you are wondering what is going on, Colette my wife, challenged me to grow out my beard until she can put it in ponytails. Being the sucker that I am, I agreed. Since I started people are a little confused since it is the middle of summer and crazy hot, and I have to agree. But it is too late to turn back now. Plus by the time winter comes around I will be the envy of every guy just starting their winter beard. So here is week 2, I am not sure you can see the progress though I am sure that jumping more than one week at a time we will see the progress. Happy Sunday.
It’s Been One Week…
July 18, 20098:51 pm6 CommentsA week ago today Colette challenged me to grow my beard out until she can put it in a ponytail. This is my progress.
p.s. Since when do I have a crooked nose?
Day One (Sort Of)
July 11, 20099:39 pm3 CommentsI normally trim my beard about once a month. I like to keep it short and looking clean. I’m pretty sure it makes me look hot. Plus there comes a point where my skin goes into revolt and screams at me to trim the beard. The last few weeks has been one of those times. A chin that is itchy and sore is not fun. But because life keeps you busy, I have not had time to do the necessary trimming. While complaining about it today, Colette challenged me to grow out my beard until she can put it in two pony tails. Feeling up for it, I accepted said challenge. So today is day one. I mean it isn’t the start of the beard, just the start of the challenge. So for the next, however long it takes, I will be putting a picture of the glorious beard on here for you all to enjoy. Here is the first one.
p.s. If my lips look really red, I just put on some carmex. My lips were chapped and hurt real bad. Don’t judge me.
