I just realized this last night. I always check the alarm clock twice. Once to either set it or make sure it is set, and then one more time to make sure I did it correctly. If I don’t get that second time, I lay in bed wondering and hoping I did it right until I get up and check. If I fall asleep before that second check, I will wake up all night long making sure I have not slept late. It is easier to just check the alarm clock twice and get a good nights sleep. In ten years I will probably be on medication for this.

also with the locks on our house.
so my pre-bed routine is very stressful.
I let my husband set the alarm. It’s on HIS side of the bed. I’m not sure I even know how to set it.
