Here is the beard progress for week 3. It looks pretty dramatic because I cut off all of my hair. My beard is now a lot longer than the hair on my head. The good news is that I no longer look homeless. The bad news is that people either think I look really religious (i.e. Amish) or a like neo-nazi.

I’m sad your getting rid of the mustache too… you need that sucker growing over your lip.
Smart, very smart, just like a tree when you trim the top the roots get stronger. Now your face won’t have to work as hard to grow your beard.
I’m with Brody. There’s no reason you should be trimming the mustache. Are you a messy eater? Do you leave a little lovin’ hangin’?
